• PhD in Chemistry; • Postdoctoral experience in research on chemical education; • Ability to teach effectively at all undergraduate levels; • Ability and proven successes as lecturer of first-year Chemistry students; • Proficiency in Afrikaans (essential); • Proven dedication to chemical education and teaching methodology research; • Experience in research and development of teaching methodology, as well as an existing network of academic peers and collaborative research in this field.
Recommendations: • Recent publications in chemical education research; • Potential to develop a chemical education research programme which will lead to referred publications.
